About us
University Green Digital HUB is developed by six partner organizations: University of Split (Croatia), University of Malaga (Spain) and Stuttgart Media University (Germany), Impact HUB Stuttgart (Germany), Split Entrepreneurship Centre (Croatia) and Preneurz.Amsterdam (Netherlands).
The main goal of the project University Green Digital HUB is to develop and advance digital, green and entrepreneurial (DGE) skills of students, staff and university startups through re- and upskilling DGE programs and startup support program in green and digital innovation.
Support for green and digital innovation
Project partners are developing a joint start-up program between universities for startups in the area of green and digital innovation aiming at students, young graduates, and researchers.
By co-creating and co-organizing workshops on developing green business models with industry experts, organizing green technology educational workshops, ideation challenges and green-oriented hackathons aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), University Green Digital HUB will enhance the creation of new university startups as well as boost the capacity of existing ones for digital and green innovation.
Years of Experience
UGD HUB partners have long-term experience in teaching and training students and mentoring university startups through their accelerator & incubator programs, national funding programs, or curricular events. They've acquired valuable skills in green and social entrepreneurship, developed new tools and improved the exisiting tools that are used at the university level and other events.
UGD HUB was founded on the belief that universities are vital players in entrepreneurial ecosystems, both as a learning environment and as a breeding ground for nascent entrepreneurs. With the right mindset and programs in place, universities provide enormous opportunity for innovation, creativity and economic growth.
Partners have years of experience designing and executing programs to increase the entrepreneurial capability of universities.
