Startup Factory
The Green Startup Factory focuses on customized training and support needed so current and future generations of young entrepreneurs not only identify eco-innovation opportunities – greener ways of working, living and moving around – but also possess the skills to make them happen.
The goals of Greenpreneur Startup Factory are:
- Development of green and digital entrepreneurial skills
- Joint startup program for digital and green innovation
- Creation of new university startups as well as boosting the capacity of existing ones for digital and green innovation
- Strengthening the capacity of HEIs in supporting digital and green innovation
- Boosting green-oriented student entrepreneurial ideas
- Strengthening youth participation in the community as active citizens
- Support in business development to prospective DGE startups
- Access to the international network of knowledge
- Enabling peer-knowledge transfer

International startup program
Greenpreneur Startup Factory is a comprehensive DGE startup support system for university startups composed of intensive trainings, workshops on developing green business models, green technology educational workshops, ideation challenges and green-oriented hackathons, international competitions, and joint startup incubation program with industry experts.
Supporting green and digital innovation
Green hackathons
Green-oriented hackathons were held at universities in Split, Stuttgart and Malaga as part of the University Green Digital HUB project.
Croatia, Germany and Spain, were the locations of the green hackathon with the aim of finding and implementing green digital solutions aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to improve and advance their local communities.
International startup competition
STup! international university startup competition is a global stage of university entrepreneurship
The event enables startups to showcase their digital and green solutions and exchange ideas and experiences on an international level.
STup! competition brings together local and international startups, entrepreneurs, representatives of incubators, accelerators, as well as companies and investors.
